Call for outstanding international students (IGP-A, admission of September 2025)
I am seeking the applicants of International Graduate Program (A), who are interested in the graduate study in the field of water environment at Tokyo Institute of Technology. In our research team (laboratory) at Tokyo Institute of Technology, we are conducting a range of research on Environmental Science and Engineering including development of novel water and wastewater treatment technologies for emerging contaminants, advanced anaerobic digestion, non-target screening method development for dissolved organic matters and contaminants, and various other studies that contribute to sustainable development (for more detailed research topics, please visit our laboratory webpage: https://www.titech-fujiilab.jp/research/)
Applications of the International Graduate Program (A) for admission of September next year usually open around fall period (https://www.titech.ac.jp/english/admissions/prospective-students/graduate-programs/igp-a). Website will be updated to 2025 admission version perhaps in August or September. In the last year (admission of 2024 September), the application period started from September, 2023. We expect same period for this year. This program will be funded by a Japanese government (MEXT scholarship) for outstanding students from abroad to pursue doctoral (ph.D) degree in an integrated master’s and doctoral curriculum.
If you are interested in this full scholarship graduate program for your higher study at Tokyo Institute of Technology, please feel free to contact to Manabu Fujii (fujii.m.ah@m.titech.ac.jp) at anytime. Note that it generally take some time for preparation of application (e.g., discussing research plan), so contact to host researcher before end of September or early October will be recommended. I am looking forward to hearing from you. You can also check our IGP students in the lab member list of our webpage.
Best regards,
Manabu Fujii,
