Call for JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowships for Research in Japan (1nd call in August 2024 starting from April-July 2025)

I am seeking the applicants of JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowships, who are interested in the postdoctoral research in the field of water environment at Tokyo Institute of Technology. In our research team (laboratory) at Tokyo Institute of Technology, we are conducting a range of research topics on Environmental Science and Engineering including development of novel water and wastewater treatment technologies for emerging contaminants, advanced anaerobic digestion, non-target screening method development for dissolved organic matters and contaminants, and various other studies that contribute to sustainable development (for more detailed research topics, please visit our laboratory webpage: https://www.titech-fujiilab.jp/research/). Applications of the JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowships usually open twice a year (https://www.jsps.go.jp/english/e-fellow/e-ippan/index.html): i.e., 1st call in August 2024 starting from April-July 2025, and 2nd call in April 2025 starting from September-November 2025. If we apply to this fellowship in this August, the starting period of fellowships will be most likely from April-July 2025 for 12 to 24 months. Allowance is ¥362,000 per month. The applicants need to be those who have received their doctoral degree less than 6 years ago.
